These rugs are expertly hand-knotted from a premium blend of New Zealand wool and bamboo silk, using a dense 100-line Tibetan weave. This construction creates a rug that is both highly durable and easy to maintain, while still offering a soft, refined feel underfoot.
Designed as true one-of-a-kind statement pieces, each rug is intended to anchor a space and become the focal point of the room.
To preserve the integrity of the original design, all rugs are dyed using high-quality chromatic dyes. Unlike natural dyes derived from berries and other organic materials, which tend to fade quickly, chromatic dyes retain their vibrancy for significantly longer periods. While all dyes naturally soften over time, this slower fading ensures the designer’s color story remains balanced and visually compelling for years to come.
Bamboo silk adds a smooth, luminous finish and an elevated sense of luxury. For enhanced durability and contrast, these rugs can also be produced in an 80/20 blend of New Zealand wool and bamboo silk, where the silk acts as an accent, introducing subtle sheen and bold pops of color within the design.
Our designs draw inspiration from artists past and present, fashion icons, street culture, and historical references. From the iconic wave imagery of Katsushika Hokusai to surf culture, whimsical motifs inspired by 18th-century decorative art, and bold contemporary influences, each rug reflects a fearless creative spirit. References span from Alexander McQueen to Banksy, as well as street art, heritage portraits, jungle themes, spiritual symbolism, and modern pop culture.
These rugs are born from the imagination and beliefs of our founder and are crafted as true works of art for the floor or wall. Every piece is hand-knotted to achieve exceptional clarity, depth, and detail in pattern.
We also collaborate closely with clients and designers to create fully custom, one-of-a-kind statement rugs that reflect individual vision and creative expression.
